Dave Curry has over 25 years of experience in real estate with particular emphasis in leasing, marketing, and property management. With a reputation for delivering results customized to each client’s unique circumstances and goals, Dave utilizes a relationship sales process plus a creative yet disciplined approach to implementing strategic plans. Before joining Life’s a Beach Realty as a licensed Sales Associate, Dave served as Senior Regional Manager of Franklin Street, where he oversaw the Atlanta retail management portfolio and provided leasing services for Franklin Street’s largest retail management client (America’s Realty). Previously, he served as Leasing Director for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF), where he leased (for nearly 15 years) Monarch Centre, a 1 million-square-foot Class A trophy office property in Buckhead, the financial center of Atlanta. His role as Monarch Centre’s Leasing Director concluded with Buckhead’s largest 2014 office deal, a 13-year, 93,000-rentable-square-foot lease with J.P. Morgan. Prior to NGKF, Mr. Curry worked at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he held several key positions including General Manager, Leasing Director, and Construction Manager. Mr. Curry’s clients have included New York State Teacher’s Retirement System (NYSTRS), Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), California Public Retirement System (CALPERS), Lend Lease Corporation, and Morgan Stanley Real Estate. His Class A office leasing and property management experience has included such high-profile assets as The Equitable Building, Overlook, Atlanta Financial Center, and Monarch Centre. Prior to Franklin Street, Mr. Curry served as Managing Director for Beck Partners CRE, LLC, where he assisted in establishing a new Beck Partner’s office in Tallahassee, Florida. He also provided landlord leasing services for an urban Class A office building and provided tenant representation for Tallahassee retail and office users.
Dave received a bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Clemson University and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He enjoys world travel, including attendance at the last 6 Summer Olympic Games (Atlanta, Athens, Sydney, Beijing, London, Rio) and is an avid runner, having completed more than 40 marathons (including three Boston marathons) and four Ironman triathlons. Dave and his wife Deborah have two nieces and four nephews and a rescue cat, Ashton.
